This is what the hour looks like. Real work on a real career history. Not another pitch.

The advice you keep hearing

You've been given two options. There's a third.

Find another senior role. Or "just become a consultant." Most people with a long career behind them hear one or both within weeks of deciding they want something different.

The third option is the one nobody spells out: build a business of your own from what you already carry, shaped around the life you want to live, wherever you choose to live it. Home included.

The old plan

  • Telling people you're a consultant and waiting for the phone to ring.
  • Learning ads and funnels built for 25 year old beginners.
  • Starting from zero, as if decades of work counted for nothing.

The new plan

  • Monday: one hour to shape your experience into one offer idea.
  • Every day: say the problem, the outcome and the buyer out loud.
  • By Friday: a first offer idea on paper you can test.

Experience isn't an offer.

And no one ever showed you how to turn it into one.

Unpackaged Experience

Why "just become a consultant" doesn't work

You know the moment. A friend says, "You should consult." You nod. It sounds sensible. Then you sit down at a blank page and realise you have no idea what you'd actually sell, or who would buy it.

That isn't a confidence problem, and it isn't a sign your experience has run out of value. It's a packaging problem. We call it Unpackaged Experience.

Inside an organisation, your value came wrapped in a title, a team and a budget. People knew what to ask you for. Outside, none of that wrapping exists. Your experience is still there, but nobody can see what it does, so nobody knows what to pay for.

So most people do the obvious thing. They pick a vehicle first. Consulting, coaching, fractional work, a course. Then they try to squeeze decades of experience into it.

That's the wrong way round. You can't choose the vehicle until you know what you have, and what life it has to fit. Consulting might be the answer. It might not.

You don't have a "too old to start" problem. You have a packaging problem.

The Rewire, Repackage, Repurpose Method

Three steps from what you know to one problem, one outcome, one buyer

You spent decades accumulating experience. You shouldn't need to start again. The method takes the career capital you already carry and shapes it into something a person or organisation will buy.

1

Rewire

Name what you actually have

Your title was the container. It wasn't the value. Using DecodedAi Lite, you pull out the skill your old title was hiding, in plain words.

2

Repackage

Shape it into an offer

Using RewiredAi Lite, you turn that skill into one clear problem you solve, one outcome you deliver and one buyer who needs it.

3

Repurpose

See where it can take you

You see how that offer can become a borderless business, built around the life you choose. Travel if you want to. Stay home if you don't. The point is choice.

Who built this

30 years of doing it, not theory

I'm Jamie Sylvian. I've worked independently since 1991, and location-independently since 1993. That's over 30 years of building businesses and advising people across industries.

I've lived in 13 countries and built a base of clients in each one. I partnered with Lord George Mountbatten to build the London business that became uSwitch.com, which sold for £210 million in 2006. I've built sales teams for companies like Centrica, British Gas's customer business.

Today I still consult, coach executives, run workshops and mentor. My clients have been global, at management, C-suite and board level. I've run in-house workshops and coached teams for companies including BetVictor in Gibraltar, and advised founders and consultants launching in new markets.

Executive Nomad takes what I've learned about building a borderless business and puts it into a method you can use on your own career.

"Jamie helped me solidify some of my thinking around branding. He offered suggestions on how to launch and bring in initial clients. With re-purposing, this led to potential ways to grow my consulting business post-launch."

Inside the 60 minutes

What you get

  • The Rewire, Repackage, Repurpose Method. The full framework, explained step by step, so you can run it again on your own.
  • The exercises. You work on your own career in the hour, not on a made-up example.
  • DecodedAi Lite. The free AI tool that pulls the skill your old title was hiding out of your work history.
  • RewiredAi Lite. The AI tool that shapes what you surfaced into one problem, one outcome and one buyer.
  • Your first borderless offer idea, on paper. Something you can say out loud tomorrow and test by Friday.

Is this for you?

This is for you if

  • You have a long career behind you, and you're not finished.
  • You want to build something of your own rather than take another job.
  • You want work that fits the life you choose, wherever you choose to live it.
  • You suspect your experience is worth more than you've been able to explain.

The honest limits

  • No job help. This won't help you find a role. It helps you build something that doesn't need one.
  • No income promise. You leave with an offer idea to test. What the market pays for it is the next stage.
  • No travel requirement. Location independence means choice, not permanent travel.

One hour on your own career

Questions people ask

Is this just the front of a sales funnel?

The hour stands on its own. You work on your own career and leave with an offer idea, whether or not you ever buy anything else. If you want to go further, I'll tell you what's available. You don't have to take it.

Can AI tools really make sense of a 30 year career?

DecodedAi Lite and RewiredAi Lite don't replace your judgement. They ask good questions and organise the answers, so you can see patterns in your own experience that are hard to spot alone. You stay in charge of what's true and what matters.

I'm not a coach and don't want to become one.

Good. This isn't a coaching course. Your offer might be consulting, advisory work, fractional work, workshops or something else entirely. The method finds what you have first, then the vehicle.

What's the Compass Call?

An optional 60 minute, one to one conversation with me, for people who want to go deeper on their own situation after the hour. It's $295 (shown in your local currency), and the fee is credited against any workshop or Unlocked programme you join within 90 days. You don't need it to get value from the hour.

How does the guarantee work?

If you do the hour and don't leave with at least one offer you can make in the marketplace, it's free. [ADD REFUND PROCESS AND WINDOW]

P.S. Most people spend months asking whether they're too late to build something of their own. They're asking the wrong question. You don't have a "too old to start" problem. You have a packaging problem.
